Beef Brisket
Beef brisket is one of those wonderful recipes that has a large variety of uses. It cooks all day and is worth the wait!
Ingredients:
1 4lb beef brisket
3 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon paprika
1 teaspoon cumin, ground
1 tablespoon salt
2 teaspoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions:
- Rinse and pat dry the meat- set aside.
- In a small bowl combine all ingredients EXCEPT the garlic. Set aside.
- Rub the brisket with the garlic, covering all sides.
- Now, rub the dry spice mixture over the entire brisket, covering it heavily with all of the spice mix.
- Wrap the brisket tightly in heavy foil and set into a roasting pan.
- Roast in oven at 300℉ for 6 hours or until meat falls apart.
- Serve as a sandwich, taco or whatever!
