Easy Pork Chops

Here is an easy recipe for tender juicy pork chops, that the whole family will like. The secret to tender and juicy is milk! The milk works magic on pork and it doesn’t require a lot of soaking time either!

Ingredients:

2 cups milk (or buttermilk)
1 teaspoon paprika
2 teaspoons your favorite spice mix (I used Trader Joe’s 21 spice mix in this recipe)
4 boneless pork chops

pork chops ingredients

Directions:

In a mixing bowl, combine spices and milk and stir.  Add your pork chops.  Cover and let set for 20-30 minutes (while you prepare the rest of your meal).

soaking

After they have set in the milk mixture for 20-30 minutes, heat up a skillet (preferably one that has raised grills) over medium high heat.  Give the pan a good coating of oil with a brush.  Once the pan is nice and hot, place your chops in the pan.   Cook on each side 4-5 minutes.  (The key here is to not overcook them, that is what makes them really tough.)
Remove from the pan and place on a plate.  Cover with foil and let rest for 15 minutes.  (During the rest period, leave them alone, don’t peak.)

After they have rested they are ready to eat!
