Honey Teriyaki Chicken
Honey Teriyaki Chicken
This is an easy chicken dinner that is great with steamed rice and vegetables. It also would work great as frozen prepared meal, as you could marinate the chicken in the freezer. Just pop in the oven or on the grill for a quick dinner.
Ingredients:
8-12 boneless, skinless, chicken tenders
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoons pepper
2 teaspoons garlic, minced
Directions:
- In a bowl combine all ingredients, except chicken. (This is the marinade.)
- In a ziploc baggie, place chicken pieces.
- Pour marinade over the chicken reserving 1/4 cup, seal bag and massage marinade into chicken.
- Place bag in fridge for 6-8 hours or overnight.
- When you are ready to cook the chicken, preheat the oven to 350.
- Remove chicken from bag and place in baking dish.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes or until juices run clear.
- Pour remaining marinade over chicken before serving.
- This recipe also works great for the grill!
