Pear and Plum Crisp
Fruit crisps are such a refreshing and versatile treat. Add a little fruit (whatever is in season) and a little topping and you have a fruit crisp. This recipe is especially easy and can be made anytime of the year.
Ingredients:
3 cups plums (peeled and coarsely chopped)
3 cups pears (peeled and coarsely chopped)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar (white or brown sugar)
1/ 3 cup soft butter (5.5 tablespoons)
1/2 cup crushed cereal (you can use what you have in the pantry)
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Prepare baking dish by spraying dish with cooking spray. In a bowl, mix fruits and lemon juice. Pour fruit mixture into the baking dish. In a small bowl combine the flour, sugar, soft butter and crushed cereal. Once combined, sprinkle over the fruit. Sprinkle pumpkin pie spice over the top of your crumb mixture. Bake for 35 minutes.
