Cauliflower Fries

These cauliflower fries are amazingly good.  We tried them the first time when someone gave us a head of cauliflower (which no one in the family is a big fan of).  This recipe proved to be a winner and now we buy cauliflower just to make them.  They are a great replacement for traditional potato french fries.

Ingredients:

1 head of cauliflower 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions:

  1. Clean and cut up cauliflower into large bite size pieces (you want them large enough to hold together to be dipped like fries.)
  2. Toss into a large bowl with oil, salt and pepper.
  3. Spread on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake at 425℉ for 20 to 25 minutes until softened and browned.   ( A couple times during the baking time, stir up the cauli- fries to evenly brown.)
  5. Serve with your favorite french fry dipping sauce.
