Beef Brisket

Beef brisket is one of those wonderful recipes that has a large variety of uses. It cooks all day and is worth the wait!


1 4lb beef brisket

3 cloves garlic, crushed

1 tablespoon chili powder

1 tablespoon paprika

1 teaspoon cumin, ground

1 tablespoon salt

2 teaspoons brown sugar

1 teaspoon oregano

1 teaspoon ground black pepper



  1. Rinse and pat dry the meat- set aside.
  2. In a small bowl combine all ingredients EXCEPT the garlic. Set aside.
  3. Rub the brisket with the garlic, covering all sides.
  4. Now, rub the dry spice mixture over the entire brisket, covering it heavily with all of the spice mix.
  5. Wrap the brisket tightly in heavy foil and set into a roasting pan.
  6. Roast in oven at 300℉ for 6 hours or until meat falls apart.
  7. Serve as a sandwich, taco or whatever!
